Thread: Crows Nest :)

    Cool Crows Nest :)

    Crows Nest, Highcliffe...

Had an inkling on Saturday last, that the surf may be good at Highcliffe, Crows Nest Beach, on the Sunday....
    So!
With the webcam looking like this at Bournemouth -

We were soon on the road...Wend, Basil and myself

Crows Nest is an awesome free carpark at Highcliffe which has some great stone groynes that the waves, right handers, peel off of very well indeed! It also picks up a bit more swell than the busier

beaches of Boscombe and Bournemouth and is dog friendly - perfect for Baz

Takes about 1 hour 20 to get there from Abingdon, which is well worth it when you see this -

We found our usual parking space, with a nice wide bit next to the van door and grass to put my SUP whilst I get ready.

I had a perfect right all to myself

Something I was very happy about!

    Baz seemed impressed too

Basil watches on as I pull into the perfect wave

All in all it was a perfect day at Crows Nest

Thanks Wend for driving and being great company!
