    Default Fowey to Lantic bay

My son Bill (tango602) had the day off from college today so we thought a day on the open sea might work out.The forecast was for 3mph so off we went.We launched out of Penmarlem boat park as usual and as it was a weekday we had the slip to ourselves.Paddling out of the harbour we kept an eye out for the dolphin but it did'nt appear.
Quite a hazy start as we left the harbour

Lantic bay, lovely little beach,a bitch of a climb up or down.

Little Lantic where we stopped for a brew

Bill sporting the latest colour dry bag (aldi)

Had to stop taking pics from this point as it roughed up,biggest sea I've paddled in and it was a relief to get back in the river.

    Couple of spectators

All in all an excellent and an added bonus of finding a 20 Rapala lure stuck in a tree just as we were getting back out. Thanks for looking

Looks a nice paddle! Good pics. I walked from Polperro to Lantic bay a couple years back, was a very nice place indeed.
