Just had e-mail, my first ever canoe, a Nova craft prospect 17" is ready for collection... Was not expecting so soon so all plans on hold and collecting on Saturday.

Nice Easter present - much better than a chocolate egg! Congratulations. Don't forget to take a camera along on your maiden voyage!

Its a 17' Poly, don't quote me but I believe the weight difference was only about 6kg to the Royalex and as this will never be solo'd I did not feel the weight difference warranted the price difference.

    Mikgee,
Was there much of a price difference's? as the Brookbanks site doesn't give a price for the Novacraft Prospector 17 SP3, well only the 16 as a "bundle" package.

OO yes a new toy.. I like the protector under it when you put 'her' to bed.. I put something like that under my old barge..to protect the floor! Enjoy the toy! TB.

Not sure exactly to be honest as I had to buy so much other stuff at the same time, the boat alone was about 800 (I think) If I can dig the reciept out I will let you know exactly.

When a child is born, it was customary to hand out cigars. Since SOTP is about preserving tradition, I'm expecting mine (cigar that is) in the mail.
