Did you get the visit from high speed boats with police people in them?

No. There were no speed boats. But if there had been I'm sure we'd have escaped them, thanks to my supercharged bow paddler that day.

    Hi Crow,

The basking sharks were off the west coast of Islay on the way down to the Rhinns, we spotted other off Frenchman's rock. We saw 10 altogether over 5 days. Brilliant ya just sit in your boat and they swim around you for ages, very inquistive.

    Cheers,

    Kev

    Here’s my tu-pence worth,

This swan joined me for breakfast and then had a bit of a cleanup before leaving.

A treecreeper doing what comes naturally, creeping up trees!

On Tiree this Oyster Catcher watched me for a while.

After a wet day on Islay, the rivers were flowing well and this waterfall was impressive.

The sleek lines of my friend's Vynek slicing through the calm sea.

It’s a difficult choice but this is it.

This is me enjoying my last morning in "our garden" before moving to dry land. It's Saltford on the Avon (near Bristol). I did my first canoeing on this stretch.
