    Default Waterproof your phone

Wouldn't this be great for us if it works?

Ive just bought my kid a waterproof, shockproof phone for xmas. Was 75. They are supposed to be builder proof.

The wife also bought me a waterproof phone watch. I love it!

I agree, but I'm not sure about sending it away to be done. It would be good if the manufacturer offered it as an option when you buy your phone.

There was a thread about a similar product some time ago, fortunately I kept the link.

There's no such thing as inclement weather - you're just incorrectly dressed

You all read the get-out clause at the start, right?

Great if it works but I'd rather try it on your phone first.

If my phone were waterproofed to that extent, I might be tempted not to keep it in a secure dry-bag clipped to one of the thwarts. I might just keep it in a pocket. Then I'd probably either break it or accidentally drop it in the lake/river and lose it!

    Clever stuff, though!

I did put a blackberry though a complete cycle in the washing machine (er... by mistake before someone asks), stuck it in the the airing cupboard for 24hrs to dry it out before switching on.

    Worked fine :-O

Ditto but with a cheap Nokia and on a white cottons wash! only thing wrong afterwards was a slight soapy scum on the inside of the screen.
