    Smile Hello from France

I am happy to join SOTP which provided me with very useful information when I bought my Wenonah Prospector 15 and proceeded with its outfitting.
I live in the south of France. I am new to OC and still have a lot to learn as I move slowly away from creek kayaking (including several trips to Wales and Scotland) to rediscover the joys of grade 2-3 rivers. I am also the proud owner of a Nitro from Esquif (so as not to forget the pleasure of getting hammered ).
OC is very little developped in France. The good news is the first OC meet together will take place on the Drome on 17-18 April 2010. It's a very nice river, and all OC paddlers are welcome. It's also close to the Ardèche and a few other nice rivers.
In case some might be interested in french rivers, the following link is the blog our group of sea kayakists and OC paddlers is running. It provides some info on the rivers we paddled.

May the gentleness of morning, greet your silent passage through endless waters...

May all your winds be gentle. And for ww - May it rain the night before.
