Dunno if you are still looking, or if the south west is too far, and if mine is too big but I have a Mad River Explorer 16 TT for sale. It is in excellent condition.

Default I'm in the same place...

I'm in very much the same position as Roy - so all you PM-ing people, if there is something Roy isn't interested in, you might try me second. I'm after a 16' royalex boat. My main thought is a prospector, but I'd consider some other things.

I know this is a long shot, but I figured that a post here can't do any harm.

wyedean may still have some of their grummans left, not royalex, but still lighter than most plastic boats.

    Default Nice thought

Nice thought there, but I've paddled Grumman Al canoes in the past and not really enjoyed the experience. Thanks, though!

    Default Thanks, but too small

    Hi,

Thanks for the offer, but too small for me. I'd never fit me, my lovely and fragrant wife and two children (and camping stuff, sometimes) in a 14' boat...

    Many thanks for the offer.

I've got a Coleman 17 RX. It's not in pristine condition but then I'm not looking for top dollar either.

It's not really what you're after I know but you can get lots in it and is nice to paddle. It's in faded red, so a dark orange, with 32" airbags laced in.

    Default Not for me

Not for me thanks - too long... It'll be too much to handle solo on rivers, I'm pretty sure.

    Thanks for the offer, though

Well if all goes to plan on saturday i will get my 2nd boat, a Mad River Explorer 14 in Red complete with air bags already lashed and set up for solo paddling.
Thanks to Allan who will drop it of all the way from Scotland.

The Roylex boat will have to wait until my daughter decides whether she will continue paddling of not. If she doesn't then i will then get a Roylex one for myself.
