    Default Hiya from Roving Rich

Hi folks - Its great to have a site at last, dedicated to open boating ! All the other sites i have visited just have a small section of outcast open boaters or part timers, and a mass of playboating kayakers. What a relief to find sanctuary at last.
Well some of you might know me from BCUK. I have been kayaking since i was a teenager, but then a large gap and i took up open boating a couple of years back with hope of doing some canoe camping trips.
I am a BCU 3* in both kayak and canoe, and am curently working towards coach level 2 in open boat.
    Cheers
    Rich

    Hi Rich

Glad you got in, eventually Also pleased that the site fills a gap. It did certainly seem as if there was a need online for an Open Canoe site but only time will tell if there really is the demand.

Anyway, you are here now, make yourself at home and if you have any questions just ask.

That's true, I tried to join next after him but it wouldn't let me at the time, it didn't like the code security thing you have to copy.

We're here now though and that's what counts!

A couple of people have mentioned having problems with that. In fact I had to set up Rich's account manually.

I expected I might have problems with people registering but I thought the folks from BCUK would know what they were doing
