If you know you are going to catch some fish - you can make chowder. You may want to measure all the dry ingredients and mix them at home.

1 pound fish (chopped)
3 cups flour
1 Tbs dried parsely
1 cup powdered milk
1/2 cup potato flakes
4 tsp powdered butter substitute
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
6 cups water
1 cup dried corn (or two cups canned or frozen corn)
1/4 cup crunched up bacon

Start by soaking the corn for at least 1/2 an hour (or use canned or frozen corn).

Mix all ingredients except corn, bacon, fish and water.

Place water in kettle and bring to a boil. Stir in mixed ingredients (excepting corn, bacon and fish). Back off from high flame. Cook on low flame until mixture thickens, stirring regularly to prevent burning. Add bacon, corn, and fish. Cook at low flame until fish is done.

Serves four.
