    used to fish there as a lad,dont think that they allow canoes

    "They" can't, but to be honest, I do have some sympathy for the local fishing syndicate here, and though I live close by, I for one will not be asserting my "right" to paddle there!

    If you do, you should definitely expect some grief at least. It's only a wee pond really, at the end of the day!!

    I agree with you but I think it's important to remember that we have the right to access and that it's done responsibly.
    If it is as you say a wee pond then it's unlikely that a paddler would want to go there.
