Default Hello from Sunny Burton on Trent!

    Hi Folks,

New to the forum & relatively new to kayaking! I have a Sevylor Adventurer inflatable which I bought primarily for my 8 year old daughter & myself to have some fun with. Will be posting shortly as I am planning a trip to Wales with a friend & am after some advise on routes plus a place to camp for the night.

    Hello and Welcome!

Feel free to post those questions, and you'll soon be on the water having fun. Which part of Wales in particular?

    Thanks for the replies folks.

Hi Mal - I'm quite relaxed about the location, what is more important is the difficulty of the route as we are quite new to kayaking. I'll post on the "Places" form so would really welcome your thoughts.

    Hi Martyn
Many Gwynant in North Wales was recommended to me and there is a campsite at the top of the lake.
Llyn Gwynant I think it's called.
I've not made it there yet myself but it does look good.
I too am new to kayak life having only used my inflatable in Croatia which was fab.
I think I may need some more gear for kayaking in the UK, wet suit maybe ?
