    Default Paddle board advise

    HI,

    Does anyone have any advice/experience on paddle boards, I'm looking at a Jobe Volta as I'm 100kg and this one does 120kg.

    I did buy one some years ago butI couldn't master it but since found out it was a little small for me.

    This is based on my BCU paddleboard course not huge amount of personal experience i'm afraid..

    The weight shouldn't be an issue as they will generally handle fine if you are on the limit or abit over


    What use do you intend on using it for? As from trying out different boards the biggest changes are felt based on the shape of the board and the fin configurations

    Generally i like the look of the longer narrower touring boards for journeying or ones like the Red Sport Board for 'Fun' as you can really maneuver the thing and play around with edging and step back turns
