    Default searching

Kelley, it would help if I could access a list of all of my SOTP blogs. I'm trying again to share with Georgia Canoeing Association on Facebook, and there are blogs I can't find even with advanced search.

    Hi Gary, hope you're well.

Dunno if this will help, or is just what you've already found, or won't work at all: http://www.songofthepaddle.co.uk/for...archid=6839561

Hmm, obviously only works for the person who posts it.

Its probably what you've already tried. All I did was go to Advanced Search/Search Single Content, then put user name "ezwater" and under Additional Options/Search Forums, chose Bloggs.

If there's a specific blog you're looking for, I can look to see if its on the list I found, in case its different to what you found.

    Still paddling?

I've sent John Kelly a message to see what he can do.

I get this result but like Mal says it may only show for the user who does the search. http://www.songofthepaddle.co.uk/for...archid=6839621

I’m on my phone at the moment but when I get to an iPad or computer I can try copying and posting att the blogg threads into a post.

    Many thanks, John and Mal.

If I can relearn all that BB code stuff, I hope to post a blog of a Metro Hooch run in my Trump orange rubber ducky, approximating the first post of my Synergy that I made back in 2010. Though I will never be able to hit all the eddies in the Ducky that I did back then. What with global warming, our river levels are never as low, so the eddies don't show. And while it spins really fast, the Ducky does not shoot into eddies nearly as well.

Hi EZ, delighted to find you are still alive and kicking. Rather presumed, from the absence from these pages of a prolific and one of my favourite posters, that the worst had happened, but no, blow up power rules!! I'm not sure if I have the tenacity to read again all your blogs, but I am going to start.

Hi Gary, I reiterate what Impcanoe said above. Good to to know you're still about, it was always a pleasure reading your blogs.

I'm having surprising trouble doing this. I have the first batch on the clipboard, and I'm trying to paste them into a folder in "documents." I can't seem to do it, though I've done it with all sorts of other documents. I don't want to have to come back to SOTP for individual links. Suggestions?

You might have to paste them into a document (e.g. Word) and then save that in your folder.

I suspect the problem is that they are not direct links, ie, they don't end, for example, in .htm or .pdf. The links are actually .php (= PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) which mean they are instructions to generate the web page, but not the page itself. Most web pages are built dynamically like that now, it's the only way to may make them work on widely different sized screens.

I don't know what form things need to be in to share on Facebook and, to be honest, the above is stretching my knowledge anyway, so I can't offer an answer.

Thanks, Kelly et al !! I've got them all and look forward to sharing with Georgia Canoeing Association.

I'm doing a series for GCA on matters such as how to paddle a solo canoe without much need for correction. Will post on SOTP as I go along.
