    Default Easycomposites

Anybody used the EL2 epoxy from easycomposites.co.uk?
Seems a good price for the quantity and 6 quid for next day delivery. 65 for 5kg including hardener.

Pretty sure that's what I used to kevlar wrap the somewhat shredded shaft of my Grey Owl bent shaft Touring paddle. I am rough on my paddles at least when it's used for ~35Hrs near non-stop ... worked really well and is an almost invisible repair (at least from a distance ). Next time I'll use the same epoxy but swap to a glass wrap, that should wear smooth, I'm now finding that kevlar tends to wear furry.

Yup, used it to repair some dings in a boat - worked well "Does exactly what it says on the tin".

Kll get some ordered this morning, it's only 6 for next day delivery as well. 5kg might be a bit of overkill as the plans only require 3kg but I'd rather have too much and not run out after making mistakes.
