    Default Canoeing in Australia??

Hi to all you Aussie canoeists.

I will be traveling to Australia in the new year and would like to go for a paddle while I'm there.

Can anyone recommend where I might be able to hire or borrow a proper open canoe and gear?

I'm traveling with my wife to visit our son in Sydney, but we will also be in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. So I'm hoping to plan a paddle into our trip. My son and I are both experienced canoeists, my wife is a fair weather paddler.

Any help or recommendations would be appreciated.
    Big Al.

Nothing helpful to add but this is one of the few posts that made me hanker for a “like” button.

Message Slime re the trip. His mate Dave is based near Sydney and is very definitely a paddler and a top bloke too.
