Default St Patrick stream blocked by fallen tree

I paddled from Sonning down through St Patrick stream yesterday and came across a fallen tree part way down, shortly after the narrow fast flowing section. I think it wouldn't be too hard to clear a passage but I didn't have a saw with me. I portaged round using the upstream and downstream fishing platforms, which were, fortunately, not in use.

    Cheers Garth,

Hopefully it'll get cleared quickly. What sort of diameter trunk? Would it go with a folding saw or is it a bit thick for that.

Will add to Paddle Points too.

To be honest I didn't look that closely but my recollection is that the trunk was too thick, but you could likely clear a path without cutting through the main trunk.

    Was it this one?

I cut a hole through it last week, but it might not be very obvious.

    Hard to tell, but probably.
