    Default Solway Dory Sailing Canoe

Solway Dory Sailing Canoe for sale
16 ft plywood construction sailing canoe by Solway Dory.
Comes complete with SD 44 sq.ft. Bermudan sail, a set of SD outriggers, paddle and trolley.
Can be used without the outriggers.
Everything is in very good condition, but has had little use over the last 2 years due to other commitments.
This will need to be collected from Norfolk (near Swaffham), so if it is a long journey, why not plan to collect then head on to the Norfolk Broads for a sail as well?
Priced at 800 ovno, and happy to discuss the most effective means of payment.
Let me know if you want any more photos. More photos at http://www.ocsg.org.uk/marketplace/

    Hi Fatshark,
Apologies, I don't remember the boat type, but its not an Avocet, as far as I remember.

    Thanks
    Andy

That is a plywood open canoe that we called Sunart. At 38 inch beam it is very stable for sailing and with the outriggers and rig is a very good value entry level sailing canoe. It is no longer a model that is available on the website as grp models took over. An Avocet would be the nearest equivalent model.

Thank you Dave for the details!

If I remember correctly, this was Jan's boat for some time as well?
