Thread: Wabnaki build

  1. Default Wabnaki build

    Hello everyone.

New to the forum. I'm just finishing up my first canoe build. Started it last Oct so it's been a while in the making! I read Canoe Craft and Building a Strip Canoe. I worked off the Wabnaki plans. The only modification I made was to add a hardwood stem.

I made loads of mistakes and there is a long list of things I would do differently a second time. Any advice for future builds is much appreciated.

This is what it looks like at the minute. Cant wait to get paddling. https://m.imgur.com/a/gN5ouIV

Thanks all! I'm hoping to get it finished next week. As long as there are no big hiccups.
