    Just so people are aware that A roads change limits from today

    To be honest, I was never entirely sure if it was all 90kmh or some 80 anyway!

    Except for the road signs nothing much will change. Most french drivers will just continue driving 100kmh on these small country roads anyway...

    They haven’t even changed all the signs so there are still loads of 90s around despite being wrong. I just drove home from the Aveyron and there are a few hastily erected 80s set in concrete sacks but there you go.

    So what happens if you're caught doing 90 KPH in an area where they haven't gotten round to erecting the new 80 KPH signs yet ??
