Default Video editor ? Which one?

I liked Video Pad Editor, enjoyed working with for 4 years now, but, yesterday it all came to a halt as the new, paid for, upgrade is totally useless (to me anyway). So I'd like to know what people on here use to create their videos? I'm looking for something user friendly and not too pricey.
    Any ideas anyone?
    TIA

On a PC, Mac, IPad or tablet?

I've always found the free standard movie editor to be sufficient whether it be iMovie, Windows Movie Editor (or whatever it’s called now) etc. There is also the GoPro one that works with other cameras.

    Hi Sundowner

Have a look at Adobe Premiere Elements https://www.adobe.com/uk/products/pr...oogle.co.uk%2F itís not free, but itís really good for the money and has excellent learning resources built into it.

As an editor I use Premiere Pro and DaVinci most of the time, but I was really impressed with Premiere Elements as it has all the useful bits from Premiere Pro to make editing your videos really straightforward without all the boring pro bits you donít need.

    What? WHAT.!?!?

I haven’t run Video Pad up in a few days but now I’m worried to do so. That was (is) my editor of choice after trying out lots and lots.

That is for all the suggestion. Did a few hours on Openshot and it's working. Still have to work on effects but so far so good. Thank you again

Thank you Rob. Now PM me with the secrets + initiation ceremonies which would enable me to produce outstanding videos like yours?
