I'll shortly be staying at the Ketch Campsite in Worcester (on the bank of the river Severn) for a couple of days or so. I noticed on google earth that we are almost opposite the confluence of the river Teme. Not looking for an expedition, just a couple of hours pootle with the wife if it's sunny, or on my own if it's wet/windy. There's a car park just upstream of Battle of Powick Bridge, I was thinking of paddling upstream from the Severn to there and back, flow permitting. A couple of bloggs suggest that there may be some friction from folk with other interests and or landowners. I think we're still in the closed season for fishing. Anyone had any problems recently? Just don't want any bother if my wife is on board.
