Question Does anyone drop you off, upriver on the Wye?

    Hi,

Do any of the canoe companies drop you off along the river Wye, so you can travel down and collect your transport?

    Cheers

Thanks. I contacted Monmouth Canoe Hire and it would seem the river is rising above risk assessment levels & they have no bookings for Friday.

    Cheers

Maybe Will at Lucksall Caravan Park. The river level should drop fairly fast if it doesn't rain.

They specialise in carrying canoes and kayaks. He has a big roof rack, and/or a trailer.

Compare the Hereford and Redbrook levels on the NRA website ..... With no rain forecast starting at Hereford tomorrow morning show be at a reasonable level and dropping a little bit each day.

    From Kenny's Taxis:-

"Monmouth to Kerne Bridge or Ross is 25. Monmouth to Hereford is 35. Monmouth to Glasbury is 65.
This covers you, your boat and all your kit".
