Thread: River Lot, France. How do I search for it?

Default River Lot, France. How do I search for it?

Probably a dumb question but -

Searching for the 'River Lot France' comes up with nowt because 'Lot' is removed from the search as the word 'Lot' is 'too short'.
    Any tips please?

    Thanks.

I don't always find the SOTP search engine very helpful. Sometimes it's better to search on the web, and very often something from SOTP will come up.
Failing that, ask your questions in the General or Places section. Plenty of people here have paddled the Lot,

    Thanks OM.
I thought it would be best to read other reports on here, before asking any questions. Google searches are burried under commercial pages.

Try "River Lot", including the quotation marks, in the advanced search. Also, "river lot song of the paddle" which seems to work better.

    Also, Paddlepoints.

    And, simply ask away!

Whitewater, Entraygues to Le Port is the classic open boat day, grade 2+, mostly 1-2.

Lower down, I've done quite a bit around Cajarc, beautiful slower section with a few weirs to clambler round, slide down if a glissiere etc. e.g. http://www.songofthepaddle.co.uk/for...t-Cirq-Lapopie and http://www.songofthepaddle.co.uk/for...-and-Calvignac

    Thanks Mal.

"Quotation marks" "......" have worked. I now have a nice long list of search results for this evening's reading.
And thank you for putting the time in for the links.

    End of quote.
