    Default Wenonah Prospector16 Rx. Ivory.

My Wenonah Prospector 16 is for sale.

    Very rare in Ivory colour.

Has factory fitted bang plates which are very smart.

Fitted with Endless River solid buoyancy blocks. Not drilled or laced, no glued in matting either so you can outfit to your own spec.

Pictures can be seen - as advertised on Gumtree, or sent via email.

    Price is 1000.00

Location is SW Scotland near Lockerbie.

Hi..I'm looking for a boat of this length, as adventures with grandchildren loom, and the Cascade is not ideal for that. Anything in the collection more beat up and suitable? Hope this selling spree is just common sense, and not indicative of anything else.

I had a Solo plus in Ivory a while back and very much liked the fact that it didn't show the scratches too much. Not that they were invisible of course, just less noticeable. I wonder how many UK ivory Wenonahs there are about? Not many!

I also had a Prospector 16 [in red] and it paddled better on WW than some of my 15' boats......very nice, good luck with the sale
If it wasn't for the rain in our lives there would be no rivers. X 2

I’m interested, but have a few questions.

What kind of condition is it in?

    When was it made?

Has it been stored outside or inside?

Do you have any photos of the bottom of the canoe?

    Cheers

I hope barelyafloat doesn't mind me adding the link - only 3 pictures, but looks good to me:

Thanks, I had looked at the pictures but would like to see the underside of the canoe, the bit that usually gets scraped and bashed. I’ll send barelyafloat a pm with my email address.

    Cheers!

Ivory is the colour of choice for composite canoes. Any scratches tend to be very shallow compared with the gouges of moulded canoes and the ivory makes them hardly visible anyway. If you are really concerned, a session with a buffer and some cutting compound will restore the shine.
