Default Trip in the Falkirk Wheel??

Not something that will happen very often, don't think very many people have paddled in the wheel as it's usually not allowed.

So the guys at the Peterborough lift lock in Canada have challenged the falkirk wheel team to fill the falkirk wheel with paddlers. Too good an opportunity to miss so I'll be there with a couple of boats. Fancy coming along on Sunday 13th May? If so you can register at the Scottish Canals website

Hope to see a bunch of quentins there!
    Cheers,

    Alan

I suppose ideally they would prefer lots of little kayaks as they could get more in. But it would be great to be a part of that. Can't wait for your blog.

I’d have loved to go along even if it was just to see it but unfortunately got a show in that day.

    What a coincidence!

Having recently just read an article entitled 'The Falkirk Wheel to the Scalpies' ...and then thinking, Hey!.. this could make a great days paddle out...and then this post this pops up!

    Chainsaw,
I have this week-end in question scheduled off, and would love to join you on this planned paddle. But due to scheduled work, and other associated nausea, I won't be able to make it!

Make sure you guys take it to the limits, as The Eagles might of said, photo it. and then post it all here for the rest of us to see... that can't make it this time!

Very much now looking forward to the upcoming blog!
