Love the kilt, not sure if I'd be brave enough to wear one in public though 🤔

I'm a bit self conscious, but I'm now thinking that because it gets so hot in the boat in summer (narrow not canoe), that wearing a kilt could be a good option and will probably look better on the towpath than a pair of budgie smugglers, I recon i might buy one.

You've got to give it a try .... They are very comfortable and in a narrow boat it would be more airy.

This kilt thing all stemmed from getting married, last year and deciding to wear kilt attire ...

I'll be wearing mine at Barrow.

Kilts and canoes, there's a connection here somewhere, and it really works!

    "A Scot's Whahey!"

With the Black Watch on Google Watch!

Mal, if you wrangle a decent discount on 'a group purchase' of Black Watch Kilts, and maybe, even some of those flat caps aswell ...Then pls. put my mane at the top of the list, whilst I make inroads now into gathering a permission from the Regimental Association, fi a few gatherings now planned in their colours...

Failing that of course, then it'll just be the usual stereotypical....

Ken ripping the mickey out of less fortunates once again!

I think Kilts are a great idea... whatever the occasion!....

Along with the likes of Irn Bru, Arbroath Smokies, Haggis Neaps and Tatties, and deep-fried Mars Bars - hell yeah, I love 'em all!

Just gotta' keep paddling now, to keep the pounds off!
