    Stewart,
I'll be carrying provisions for 6...just get there!

Had chance for a quick 'look-see' this afternoon on foot, and now have a designated area with a rather grand view of that castle that looks as if it's made of dirty snow, and a fine log to sit apon, if I can somehow now incorporate within my kitchen tarp!

Gentlemen, the clock is now ticking.....

I'll see you at the castle....

    The Castle Menu...
    Punjabi-Spiced Nuts
Mug of Mushroom and Chestnut Soup

Slow-Roast Shoulder of Pork with Scrumpy & Apple Sauce
    Served with
Baby New Roast Charlotte Potatoes with Pecorino & Rocket
    &
    Braised Sweetheart Cabbage.... & Gravy!

With a complimentary mug of either Farmhouse Cider or Ginger Ale

    Followed by
    Almond Slices & Evap-Cream

With tea, coffee and some serious Chai (from Ken) being available throughout the meet

    Bacon available upon Request

Keep yer paddles wet, and powder dry....

Just had a final look at the weather forecast for tomorrow...and looks very much doable!

Just be sure to bring along your wet & windy proofs!

Another gastronomic delight courtesy of Chez Bonar, this time with the back-drop of Odiham castle.
Thanks Mark, some superb field cooking!!

Yep, another excellent alfresco meal, and thanks for arranging better weather than expected.

A grand out, I very much conclude!

Apologies for the late reply here, but since the Sunday in question, I've been straight back in the saddle on Monday morning...with two monster trips into central London!

Using the Tuesday thereafter to ease my springs and square away my parrots and monkeys in preparation for my next trip!

Right now I'm in between family birthdays....mine, and my boys' 18th

I have a few pics now lined-up for a blog of the day....and will post soonest, just bear with me a little while longer now.....
