    Default Cedar and canvas Canoe

I am selling my beautiful Valkyrie Craft 16ft Cedar and Canvas Canoe. The inside is a beautiful cedar red colour with cane seats, knelling thwart and mast foot. All in perfect order. I had it built in 2013 by Valkyrie Craft and finished to my own specifications. I had it built with slightly more recurve which I think gives it a nicer look. It has been used on East Anglian waterways so no white water, the outside is the original blue paint and shows very little scratching. Many people stop and admire this canoe. It is a pleaser to paddle and you do notice the difference, you can carry loads of gear and we have used it for canoe camping, we have even fitted two fold up bikes in as well.
The canoe has been stored inside and has only been used a couple of times per year.
    I am asking 1895.00.
I have a Solway dory 25 sq ft lug sail with mast thwart and lee board which fits the canoe. The rig is ideal for canoe sail/paddling and adds another dimension to canoeing. 180.00

That is lovely. If I had the money and the space I'd be all over it!

Wow, that is beautiful! Out of my league, but I hope you sell it to someone who will love and care for it as you have obviously done.

    Hi
The weight of the canoe is 30kg/70lbs. If you look on valkyriecraft.com,
it's a Shearwater 16 you will find more information.

Hi there, thanks forgetting back to me. Yes I’ve seen those pictures, I was just wondering if you had something that reflected today’s updated pictures. I guess those were-year-old and I assume you been using the canoe, therefore is it in the same state?

What are you thinking in terms off price for the canoe?

Looks Forwards to hearing from you

The canoe is in the same tip top condition.
I was asking 1895 for the canoe and 180 for the sail set up.
I will except 1850.00 all in.

I still have my Shearwater which I was going to sell last year but decided to keep it. I have now bought a sailing boat so the canoe needs to go.

    Mark,

many thanks for getting back to me.

I think we are nearly there - how about I accept the price i.e “all in” but also delivered to the Lakes?

    Regards
    Georges

How resilient is the canvas covers on gravel stones etc. I am a bit nervous spending a thousand pound on a canoe covered in a tent ? Sorry I am used to the plastic world . Crude but bouncy.

The photos seem to have disappeared. Sounds like a lovely canoe. Would be nice to see pics (and might help it sell).
