    Default Wanted: 3 man tent

I'm after a 3 man tent with a bit of a porch for tandem canoe camping. There are many available in shops, but before I give money to a huge business I thought I'd like to try and make a nice canoeist slightly richer. Anybody got one they don't want?

Apologies, the title could do with a comma or hyphen. , - I can't edit it.

I have one. I bought it from Clas Olhsen in 2012, it's been used for 3 nights including once in the garden to check it was ok. It's a tunnel type and the front part is an enclosed porch. It was billed as a 3 man but 2 man with some space is nearer the mark. I'm currently in darkest Devon with no wi fi, but if you're interested, I'm home late Friday, after which I can probably give you more details like HH figure. It's blue by the way. If you want to know more before the weekend, send me your phone number via pm and I'll phone you.

Thanks for replying. I'm in no hurry, so I'll wait until you have made it back to civilisation. (Somerset!?) The tent sounds useful, so hopefully we'll chat this weekend.

No worries . I used it at a Marauders meet at Brassknocker basin in 2012. Mal Grey did a blog of the meet and I think I tagged a few of my pics onto that, and from memory the tent might have featured. I can't remember the title of Mals blog, but if you find it, the tent is next to a blue Skoda estate and a blue and cream canoe. If Mal sees this, maybe he'll put in a link to his blog.
Speak at the weekend, and yes, it's Somerset.

No worries. I like the way you colour matched with the portaloo, but would expect no less!

I have a Vango very similar to the photos. Can't remember exact details offhand but I bought it a few years ago for tandem canoe camping. Inner bedroom big enough for 3 and a porch area nearly high enough to stand in.
Pretty sure its still watertight, one zip faulty. Free if you want it. I'm near Penzance.
