    Default D Rings

Just looked at D rings (for attaching buoyancy).

Are people really paying this much for them?

    Is there a cheaper option?

How much are you talking about? I don't use them coz I don't use "buoyancy" and I only tether my gear, not tie it down, but I could buy them for about 3 UK Pounds each. Are they more expensive there?

My boat has side lacing, I might just use cam straps to fasten the bags to this?

Canada, The land of cheap canoe gear.

You don't even want to know the price that we have to pay for canoe portage packs over in the UK.
Thankfully I got my new one on a visit to Canada last year.

Have you seen this video ?

You can lace across between your gear loops to stop it lifting and pass a cambelt strap through the front grab loop to hold in place
