    Default Unleashed -my new book

My new book is now published!

Unleashed - the adventures of a Colonial Vet let loose in the Mother Country.

A young, obviously eccentric, mountaineering, paragliding, paddling and vegan vet with a philosophy degree comes from New Zealand to Britain, where she has other worldly encounters with the local fauna - both two legged and four. Wit, dark humour, wry observations abound ...

    You can get it here.

Had a quick look, and it seems a good read ! Might just have to fork out a couple of quid sometime soon

Didn't know that e-books need to be stocked too !

You do not need to buy a Kindle unless you want one, you can download a free app from Amazon to read it on a PC,iPhone,Android or tablet.

Just spent an hour trying to convince Amazon to sell me a copy.

Not sure how many readers Ive downloaded, or how many times Ive entered all my details, but it still wont sell me one.

Have you got it in a form you can send by email?

Can I pay you by Paypal, as I can get that to work.

Hi Sal, thats really kind, thank you .:-)

There are some slightly "adult" sections. I never knew that you could buy iguana love toys on line, till I met Claude! There are some things about veterinary medicine that still surprise me, after all this time. :-)

I've added it to my wishlist Fiona prior to gaining permission to borrow Mrs Jurassics' Kindle (she's gone to bed so I'll have to ask her in the morning ).

Bought it the second I heard of it's existence. Instant download to iPhone Kindle app and was at the end of chapter 2 before I remembered I had work I was supposed to be doing. Not reached any adult themes yet... something to look forward to?

Mind you, try searching on-line for books with 'Unleashed' in the title (yes I know I should have simply clicked on the link but I thought I was being clever.) Seems Fiona's contribution to this literary club is unlikely to be the sauciest!

Look forward to the rest and to the sequel. Definitely the makings of a docusitcom here. Been a while since James Herriot and he never went canoeing anyway.

Downloaded Kindle version and half-way through reading it. Did Amazon upload a pre-proof-read version?

I've just returned from a week working in Ankara (this is not holiday resort Turkey!) where I have been using the kindle pretty hard in the evening and at the airports. I wish I had seen this thread earlier.

Anyway, its downloaded now. My worry is that vol II may include an analysis of canoeists and canoe incidents!

The bits I have read so far are very well written and paint vivid pictures. Well done!

    Thanks Graham!
hi Rockhopper, some chapters started life on my mac, as pages files, and others on a PC, as a word.doc, and the PC files seem to have converted ok, but the mac ones seem to be a problem. I am working in it. This has been such a steep learning curve!

Hi Fiona, I've finished it already.
A great little read, had me chuckling in the silly hours.
The tales of the two diverse ends of pet owners was eye opening as I would never have thought of either extreme. Very thought provoking.

    Thanks, Rob.

Inspired by Fiona's first published writing, I have now written my own book. It will be out very soon.

Meanwhile, "Unleashed" is proving very successful round the world. There are still copies of the first edition available. It's highly recommended.

And I don't get a penny for saying that!
