    Warm days of early November 2012, canoeing the Danube in, practically, downtown Belgrade with a photographer-friend of mine... one word comes to mind: tranquility ...

    Interesting blog........is that Azolla filiculoides [known as Fairy Moss in the UK] clogging up the river in pictures #4 #5 & #10?

    That is Water Fern (Salvinia natans)

    Interesting location - mix of city and river meadows - nice photos.
    This one I like - looks like an oil painting:
