    Default Movies from the Ardeche

Some movies from my trip in the Ardeche earlier this year...

Right click to download the files (you will need quicktime, VLC or a similar media player).

    Nice clips.

I notice they have PFDs with pockets, that will upset George

And they have Poles. I am thinking about getting a set of poles to use and for a basic sail set up too but I am a little put of at spending £60 on a length of pipe.

Also be warned these files are both about 25mb for a 13 second clip, but that will be the Mac technology

Yes but a nice 'high quality' 13 second clip

The poles we used were simply aluminium stock, Ray Goodwin had a gucci two piece fibreglass one, but in his own words "all the expensive high tech ones break eventually, a piece of aluminum stock lasts forever and is cheap".

The poles were laid down one side of the canoe and then bent into the curve of the hull with strong rope.
