Thread: ziplock

    Default ziplock

Maybe a bit of a silly question, but anyone here know where I might find those extra strong ziplock bags, about 12" x 10" or larger. I've looked everywhere around here and have drawn a blank....

    any suggestions?

    Google is your friend

They have a selection but you have to buy 100 at a time. Still might be worth getting them and then putting the spares up on the classifieds section. I am sure we all have uses for them.

Actually looking at the above you can get 1000 for twice the price of 100 so probably worth splitting a pack of 100 between a few of us.

Sounds like it might be worth a group buy.

    Sounds like you're volunteering

or would you prefer that I do it, since I brought the subject up?

I'm quite happy to as long as you let me know what the process involves.

There are two ways to go.

    1) Buy 1000 of the ones you want and then work out how you need to get paid for say 50 at a time to cover postage and PayPal fees. Then post saying you have them available and the price. The risk is that you may end up not welling them all or you might end up oversubscribed.

    2) Again work out how much for say 50 at a time. Post a thread asking who wants some and how many. Once everyone has registered an interest, if you have enough names then buy them collect the money and post them out.

Either way I would post here and on BCUK but if it seems a lot of work to you let me know and I can do it.
