    Default East Lothian paddling

    Hi just moved to the area and looking for somewhere easy to paddle. Anyone here done the Tyne or the Esk?

    Sorry no. Have you got the SCA touring/river guides ?

    Also the http://www.ukriversguidebook.co.uk/ is pretty good.

    Regularly use the Tyne & have also paddled the North & South Esk (Lothian ones).

    I was on the Tyne today & the level is super. Only non-paddleable bit for opens is the Linn at East Linton, the weir at Haddington golf course is also dodgy. I've put some stuff on the UK rivers guidebook & some 'flags' on the SOTP maps.

    I'm also about to put a blog on about today's trip.
