    Default The Microship Substrate

What does SotP's sailing community think of this.

    Do you mean this one?

Or this one? (which I like very much!)

    But seriously...

Very nice if that is what you want, but it isn't for me - and the clue's in the title - it's a ship (albeit a small one) rather than a canoe. Can it be paddled easily? I haven't had the time to read all the text so may be it says it can .

Ugly as sin - and I have doubts/questions as to the cross-beam hinge bitties.

However - the web site has much more going on....

Do I understand this correctly? Did they cut up TWO brand new Wenonah kevlar-ultralight canoes to make this thing?

I am suddenly feeling really normal.

I think it was the landing gear that did it.

Wow! That's a lot of technology crammed into a small boat. Now, it is to get away from all that rubbish that makes me want to go sailing! Stuff to stay safe and warm and dry and fed is all good but otherwise no thanks! Fascinating read though...
