Default River Trip 4 Feb Yorks/Lancs/Derbyshire

    Hi all
Anyone fancy a river trip on sunday 4 Feb.
I know Lee has posted a Pugneys meet for the same day. But I would much prefer a river run especially as most levels are good and its out of season for trout fishing.
Venue to be decided but maybe the Derbyshire Derwent or Goyt at Stockport.
I Started out with nothing! and i still have most of it left.

Ooh, that's sounds so tempting, David. Is there a pub nearby just to totally outclass Lee's suggestion?

In that case I'm paddling with you.

Do you think we can keep this a secret from Lee - he'll only want to come if he finds out, and he struggles to keep up, bless him

As far as i can tell from here there is no slalom on this weekend.

I might be able to make this one. Depends on Saturday evenings beer quota. I will let you know.

A good paddle with the risk of a cold dip might be just what you need

Be good to have you along so dont have that last pint. You know the last ones always off anyway

Might see you on the water!
I'm planning to be at Matlock with a mixed kayak and open boat bunch from Birmingham.
I have no otter on my canoe but will smile at you!
