    Default 20th January

A Southern Midlands meet, perhaps on the Wye or Thames or any point between. I am free to 'break ice' on either the Saturday or Sunday. If any body wants to see how the rivers are doing - could be fun. Or a calming lake paddle?

ps need to christen a new boat!

    Default floods

    hi there

due to the merging of the Avon & Severn across the fields of glousestershire & the very high water levels we may have to offer a flat water paddle across farmer giles pastures. I wonder what the access rules say about that.

Default loads of water to play on

No I do not work in advertising but......

so question is when paddling through flooded fields - who opens the gate?

this is a view of the Avon from Breedon, looking west towards the M5. The Avon at this point is about 30 yards wide, & normally runs 10 ft lower than this.

Default the pictures of the Avon at Breedon

This is about 8 foot higher than usual & if you zoom in you can see the M5...those white dots are trucks! This 'lake' had kite surfers on it again today.
