    Default Hi from Norfolk

Hello canoodlers, just to make introductions have lurked your forums for a few months and thought I should register. I live in Norwich (nearest put-in being the river green in Thorpe St Andrew) and I paddle about in an Old Town Pack (I also have a Sterns inflatable for sticking in the boot based fun).

We had a memorable paddle from the country park up to the weir in Coslany last year. A great way to see a city where we have had lots of fun (notably here: http://www.thefatcat.co.uk/ !)

If you live in Lakenham ward you can vote for our son (Green) in the upcoming election!

    Enjoy SotP

We used to visit Norfolk when we lived in East Anglia and are thnking of making a trip next year with canoe & caravan (plus lots of other stuff). Know any camp sites near the Broads?
    Stay dry, keep happy.

But few you can put-in that near unfortunately, there is one at Reedham Ferry (http://www.reedhamferry.co.uk/ )I believe, but the river down that way is very tidal, as it were, and can be dodgy.

    Hi there,

Good to see there's a few of us Norfolk folk on here. I'm new to the site, and am looking into getting my first canoe pretty soon. Any tips on what to get - and more particularly, WHERE to get it in Norfolk - would be most helpful.

    Cheers,
    G
