    Default Hi from sunny Sunderland

    Hi All,

I paddle a manta ray 14, I mainly enjoy the wilds of Scotland fishing and rough camping.
Been paddling for about 3 years now sometimes in the open ocean but i prefer the safety of a sea or freshwater loch.
Planning to go up to Loch Shiel in mid-August for a 3 to 4 night camping, paddling and fishing trip or possibly back to Loch Etive which is a favourite destination. My decision will be made on the weather and midgie population. I know the midgies will be bad from last years experience while fishing and paddling Loch Sween over 3 days last August.
