    Default Hello from Exeter

I feel like I'm on one of those course things where they get you to stand up and say something interesting about yourself...

    Interesting bit....Mind the gap...

    Normal service resumes.

Just dropping in a quick hello, long time lurker and I wanted to respond to a post but though it would be polite to make this my first one. I'm based in Exeter and I'm one of the coaches at Exeter Canoe Club. I've not been paddling canoes for a long time, in fact my first introduction to them was on my Level 1 coach training a couple of years ago. I do now like them, honest, and enthusiastically encourage people to give them a try. My canoe paddling has been limited to rivers and canals so far; but I do keep meaning to get one out on the sea.

I've had a plan for a long time to build my own paddle, but like much of my plans it's taking a while to get going.

    Default Welcome

Good to have you along for the trip. Now you have to throw the beanbag to someone else in the circle.

May the gentleness of morning, greet your silent passage through endless waters...

May all your winds be gentle. And for ww - May it rain the night before.
