    Default Hello from Italy

My name is Maurizio, a new paddler ( 47 years old) from lake of Como!
I hope to learn many new things about canoes, from North!

Welcome. I look forward to some of your pictures of the Lake Como area. I lived in Italia for almost 2 years, but never did make it to Lake Como. One of my many regrets.

    Great to have you aboard.
    Regards,
    Mike

A warm welcome from the north of England too.

I'm not too sure there are any other Italians on this forum. But no problem!

    Thanks!
I'm happy to enter in this forum, in Italy the open canoes are few and just now they begin to spread.
I can make myself understood in English!

Ciao Mao e tutti! Me chiame Maurice o Moz (o maurizio anche)! I'm an Anglo-Italian, from Burton on Trent who came across this site after buying a Pelican Explorer on Saturday and Googling for a trolley design (to wheel the boat 200 metres down to the river and back). I used a skateboard strapped under the front seat yesterday - useless on grass and over a kerb. There is a nice design here but probably too flimsy for what I need.

Hi Maurizio, Lake Como is a beautiful place, I stayed there once coming back from one of my many trail riding trips in Italy. There did not seem to be too many places for public launching though, is that the case, or do you just need local knowledge?
    Happy paddling.

You can enter in lake almost everywhere, but many place are private and in other you can't stop or to moor ( make sense? )
    No big Problem!
