Default Hello from Co. Kerry,Eire (Ireland)

Hi to all my fellow Canoeing enthusiasts.
    I have a Old Town 17' Canadian.
Love to take her out when I get a chance.
I also like wild camping and love bushcraft.
Have just stumbled onto this site today so
will devour it over the coming days and catch up.
Hope everyone is doing well and I will jump in and start posting ASAP.

    Welcome from North Yorkshire.

I lived near Bantry for ten years and spent a lot of time canoeing in Killarney National Park. You've some great lakes and rivers there.

Hi there lads.Yes I am originally from Dublin City, but have been hopping & living around Co. Kerry for the past 3 years.I love running down to Killorglin from Killarney Lakes on the River Luane every now and then. Its a short run but a sweet one where you will never miss plenty of wildlife.

Wow! I thought Killarney to Killorglin was a short paddle
Those islands in Killarney are cool.I plan to pack a bit and spend a night or two out there sometime when the tourist rush is over...
Killarney Tourist rush over....Does that happen??
I may wait for the big freeze...
