    Default Hello

    Hi everyone,

Some people might recognise my user name from Bushcraftuk or British Blades. I'm picking up my first canoe (Old Town Pack) on Saturday and I know from many recommendations this is the best place to learn and find info.

I promise I'll use the search first before asking newbie questions you've probably all heard a million times before

    atb,
    Stuart

Why? That's what we're here for and everyone has done the same before you.

Anyway, welcome along. I'm only an occasional user of BB and BCUK with a total of around 20 posts between them but they are, like here, a mine of good info.

Enjoy your maiden trip in your Pack.

Good to see you here Stuart

When's the maiden voyage then ? You should get an easier time of it compared to the last outing anyway

    Thanks for the welcome guys

I'm picking the Pack up on Saturday so the maiden voyage is planned for Sunday Rich. That's if I can make it passed Strathclyde Park without a quick stop on the way home

    Thumbs up Welcome along

Great to have you over here, it really is an excellent source of advice and information, with a fair bit of crossover from several different pastimes.

looking forward to meeting you at the weekend too, have you got yourself sorted with BA etc yet?

    anyway, all the best

    Steve

Yeah Steve, got a BA ordered yesterday. I went for a Delta Ranger, it should be here tomorrow

Just a paddle to sort now, both Grooveski and Gill have kindly offered to let me try theirs and see what suits me best before I buy one.

    Is it not Saturday yet?
