    eg the cruiser???

    or does anybody know a builder, who makes a similar canoe?

    Hello HannesV, I think the nearest you can get to these canoes would be the Klepper. tough enough for the SAS & SBS in the UK & American military.single and two seaters models available.I myself have just bought the polish copy of this craft,(www.wayland.com.pl) as it was a lot cheaper than the original makers prices, even with the sails and spray deck additions. be safe big H.

    I have a pouch rz85 - similar to klepper and a pak170
    both are definitely not the dog's bollocks

    kruger's canoes are hardshells. and for a long coastal trip I prefer hardshells, spec made with carbon, ...
    in a folding you have the problems with the frames when you want to sleep *g*
