Default Leather SotP / Quentin badges for sale

Last week Russell asked me to make him a couple of SotP badges for his Duluth Pack. These worked out a lot better than my previous attempts so I made some more for my packs. I also made some spare ones that are now for sale.

First the disclaimer, these are hand cut stamped, stained waxed so there are variations from badge to badge. This is hand made product so do not expect factor consistency from one badge to another.

These are cut from 3/4mm veg tanned leather, hand stamped, then grooved and marked for stitching, trimmed incl rounding the edges, dyed and then waxed and polished.

So here is what we have

The shiny disc is a pound coin for scale

A; Is about 7cm x 7cm and dyed dark brown There are 2 of these available and the price is 7.00 each BOTH SOLD

B; Is the same size and dyed light brown but in truth the colour of these varies from about the same as A to the colour shown in the picture. In real life these are not as red as the picture above shows on my screen. There are 8 of these available and the price is 7.00 each ALL SOLD

C; The one in the picture is about 5cm x 5cm. This is painted with a mid brown acrylic dye I have and I do not like the finish much. So these are being sold for less. There are 3 this size and the price for these is 4.00 each ALL SOLD

D; Is about 5cm x 5cm and dyed dark brown. There are 2 of these and the price is 6.00 each. BOTH SOLD

E; Is about 4cm x 4cm and dyed light brown, again not as red as it seems in the picture. There are 3 of there available and the price is 5.00 each ALL SOLD

F; Is the same as E but Quentin faces to the left. There are 2 of these available and the price is 5.00 each BOTH SOLD

For orders over 10 I will deduct 1, over 20 I will deduct 2 and so on. Prices include postage to the UK. Payment by Paypal preferred but I can cope with cheques, cash etc.

Post a message on here saying what you want and we can sort out payment by PM. If these prove popular I will probably make more but not in huge numbers as they are very time consuming.

Here is one I stitched to my Bison Bushcraft pack

and a close up. This is stitched on with artificial sinew

These can also be machine stitched on but you need a good machine and stitch where the leather has been grooved out so it is thinner. Here is one machine stitched to my messenger bag

    and a close up

And remember you can get SotP canoe stickers and enamel badges in the SotP shop

Could I 'bag' two of size D please (before Chainsaw does) - you might guess where 1 will end up.
Can we combine payment and postage with the imminent hammock deal

Okay. I will put these aside and if you remind me when posting the hammock I will put them in with it. If you want them sooner let me know.

    Thanks .

Can I add 1 of the 'reddest' size E types please. I see that as a keyring. Am in no hurry but hoped only to save hassle when posting.

Gah! I'd have had a couple of D's too!! If you're doing more D's....

Keyring would be good, pear shaped with logo at bottom of pear, made from folded over at top of pear then stitched, maybe need to be thinner than 4mm though!!

Sort of like the middle shape here?

Called in today to pick up my mail, Quentin (Leather) was awaiting my arrival, as was Quentin (Canoe Sticker).

The leather Quentin really is lovely. Classic!

Might there be self adhesive Quentin stickers, perhaps of the size, shape and colour of the pin badges, available in the future? I know I'd buy them and I imagine there would be others interested in adorning paddles, dry bags etc........

I got a delivery of some leather stuff last night and it included some keyring fobs so I have started on them and should finish them tonight. I have a couple of journals to do and a wallet but could probably fir in some more badges while I am working on those.

Which ones were you interested in? Actually for that matter if anyone is interested in more they can post what ones they want and I will contact you as they become available or if there is a lot of demand I will make a point of getting some done.

So just to keep me right the list so far is.

    Chainsaw 2 x D
    Soloman 2 x A

This is not binding , just like the tarp thread it is really just to give an indication of numbers and keep your place for first refusal.

Key fobs I will be posting pictures of later and these will be available before any more badges so I will let people see the pictures before they decide if they are really interested or not.

Okay, just finished the keyrings. I have 7 for sale as there are a few I am not entirely happy with, like the one in the top row middle where the stamping is too deep to the right of Quentin.

These are again hand stamped, dyed, edge finished, waxed and riveted so they will not be identical. The keyring tabs themselves are machine cut so pretty much the same size.

As I say 7 available at 6.00 each including postage and paypal fees. Post here saying what you want them PM me for payment details.

I now have about 8nr A, 4 Nr D, 4 Nr E and about 6 Keyrings available (pictures below from first batch for ref). All of this batch are done in dark brown dye.

The people listed above have first refusal but I think that still leaves some of each available. Prices are still as the first post.

I have the blanks for keyfobs so can make some up tonight. I have few badges left but need to check what sizes. I am pretty sure the "C" ones are all gone and do not think I would have more of these. I should be able to make up pretty much any of the other sizes I don;t have in stock.

I have one D and three E left but no F. Would two E style be okay or would you want to wait for an F? The keyfobs should be ready by tomorrow for posting.
