    Default Hello All....

    Hello all!
After years of wanting a canoe, i've finally "taken the plunge" and bought one!
After years of climbing and backpacking finally owning a canoe seems a very family orientated thing to do now that we have a little boy..... I'm hoping to pursuede the dog in too!
Did i mention that i'm a Land Rover nut too?

Hello and welcome to the forum.

    A Land Rover nut?

Never have guessed with a handle like 86inch

I've had a few in the past a lightweight, a diesel 2A, Range Rover, and two Series 3s and all used in trials comps.

Great stuff, we've had all sorts. 2As, S3s, and now a Discover, Ninety, and the 86inch Series One!

Welcome to Song of the Paddle. You will find almost as many of us driving landys as paddling canoes. Some things just go together. I am surprised there is not a Land Rover branded canoe available yet.

    Welcome 86inch

Guess I should be 110 - but there would be a few with similar names

MK - just have a look at this website...

Land Rovers AND canoes, though not branded as far as I can see!

I wonder what I used to do prior to Google... What was that dear?

    Cheers

    Jon
