Hi JV, and welcome to the forum. I look forward to reading blogs of your paddling adventures. I presume you wet a paddle on the Bann from time to time. That might be one of the differences between England and Ireland: you have paddlling on the Bann, and here the landowners want a ban on the paddling!

Well hello. It's about time you joined SotP forum, John. By the way, everybody, this is the guy that first told me about this fantastic forum. As a warning to all, he sometimes takes revealing but modest photographs. Thanks very much for transport to bothy and for the chestnuts. See ya!

    Default Hi from Portstewart

Welcome to SOTP, John, from Portstewart!

And Hi to Daftrucker - I didn't know there was another SOTPer in PS.

Chris McIntyre (venture88) and I are thinking of a paddle and sail down through Lough Beg next Saturday with lunchstop on Church Island and shuttle back from New Ferry. See thread in Meetings forum. All are welcome.

    Best Wishes

    Frank
