    Default novice's Cornwall

I'm still undecided whether or not to take the boat to Cornwall next week - along with surfboards etc..

Is there anywhere with easy flat paddling suitable for a beginner? Ideally near Padstow but we don't mind travelling - anywhere with in 1 drive really.

Not too sure this is really beginners territory but decide for yourself http://www.songofthepaddle.co.uk/for...ead.php?t=1414.

Ours was the marsh country, down by the river, within, as the river wound, twenty miles of the sea.

One way would be nice and easy - ie from Rock to Wadebridge if you can arrange transport the other end. Do check the tide timetable beforehand though.

I probably wouldn't recommend the return trip to a beginner, as the power boats come out in numbers then, and the waves created are substantial, so good boyancy and confident control would be required.
