    Default Lids Wanted

    Hi,

I've just rescued a couple of barrels from a skip unfortunately one is missing the lid, and the other is missing the metal clamping ring.......

BTW they're both different types/size (typically)

The first requiring a lid is a screw top barrel...... 11in diameter
The second just needs the clamp ring and is 14 1/2 in approx

The big question is, does anyone out there in SotP land have any spare bits that i can acquire to make them water-tight? (don't mind sending a few beer tokens as a reward)

    Thanks

    Mick

You might be able to get a spare band but from where, I have no idea. As to the tops. Without a barrel, they're like wings. Sorry, wrong thread. I meant teeth.

    Default barrels- wrong size

I recently bought two blue 120L barrells and guess what. they are two inches to long to get in my prospector. If any one wants them or knows where i can get a slightly smaller barrel ie 100/80 litre i would be v happy. many thanks

I got spares for my blue barrel down at the local chip shop as they use this type of barrel to store the old oil in. I even managed to get a free fish supper and a new barrel too. Now thats what I call a result eh

It is not that I object to the work, mind you; I like work: it fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours.
